No glass needed, just a spacer to make up for the missing mirror box. Nikon already makes auto extension tubes so the adapter is a piece of cake! FX sensor is a must, however.

What's the use of making a new mirrorless format if you're going to carry around the space of the (un-needed) mirror box, and the extra focus distance for the lenses?

What is a mirrorless DSLR? Is that a camera with EVF, or what? How can it be a SLR (film or digital) without a mirror?

Hummm when the radius of curvature is very large it is unseen. The seeing of the geometry is something we walk by often and do not see. To see and photograph the common is not the usual... mostly we walk by, not seeing. Good "I saw" shot.

As I structural engineer, I can almost guarantee that there are no "odd curves" in the structure. Putting a curved member in is expensive, is structurally disadvantageous, makes the member weaker, and serves no purpose.

Probably been debated before but it keeps coming up in my circle of pro/semi-pro/enthusiast/wannabe friends.

My answer leans toward A) or B)

A) and B)

you should start your own forum, then you can make all the rules you want.

No. the rules are here already; this is a photography forum. not a politics forum.

This is a forum on photography. Are our photographs or cameras being threatened? Maybe your post should be discussed elsewhere, but not here.

Well, now that you've divulged this information, definitely an FX camera. The larger the original image, the better enlargements will be.

What do you mean by larger; the physical size of the sensor or the number of pixels? I can can see the pixel count but know no mechanism for which sensor size improves the photo or the enlargements.

For what is purpose is the camera to be judge? A race car is fast and holds the road well but is totally useless as a daily driver. Same with cameras.

A woman has sued Chipotle for 2 BILLION dollars for their use of an unauthorized photo taken of her in 2006 while eating in their restaurant. That will buy a LOT of burritos. Once again, the importance of getting that release form rears it's ugly head.

Let's be careful out there.

Can anyone tell me why I have this burst of light in the far left corner of this photograph. I was so excited to catch this shot of the Heron catching a fish only to see this right on it. Thanks for any help so I can avoid this happening again.

It could be a light leak. Depending on your camera configuration, check the lens mounting first.
