As I structural engineer, I can almost guarantee that there are no "odd curves" in the structure. Putting a curved member in is expensive, is structurally disadvantageous, makes the member weaker, and serves no purpose.

On Download you can see curves on the hooks and chains- probably a lot more places. I like this image.
