Thanks, laskalass, he is..ehem..cocky. He is pretty laid back for a rooster, he and the dog play tag, it's pretty funny to watch. He does a great job of protecting his hens, though. He got into it with some critter last spring and lost all his tail feathers, but not one hen!

Thank you, clicker, he is pretty full of himself…not without reason, he's huge AND handsome :).

Central Iowa experienced a heat wave today, 40 degrees! Everybody was outside this afternoon…Monster Chicken was out impressing all the girls, I took the dog exploring the back 40…It was a good day
