That is the message of the gospel, a message of sin and judgment, but also of substitutionary atonement, forgiveness, and above all, God's love. It includes the fact that the true Messiah, the Silent Servant of Isa. 53, is the ONLY acceptable sacrifice for sin, slaughtered by God for us as our Passover Lamb.
