My Image Your Edit: Night-time Cityscape.
The image I'm providing this week is derived from a raw file I sourced (legitimately) from the internet. Below is the original raw file plus a JPG and TIFF version.
Anything goes as far as editing. Add, manipulate, twist, crop, or create a fine piece of art. Please show us your editing that might improve the picture OR POSSIBLY create a piece of art using some of the latest software actions to create different effects. ANYTHING IS ACCEPTABLE. If you use some special software or action please let us know the software you used.
When you are finished, post your edit in this thread. Edits will be accepted until 9 pm Eastern time on Thursday. No edits will be accepted after that time, voting is done Thursday 9:00PM - Sunday 9:00PM. Voting will be for the one image voters like best.
Thank you for your efforts and participation.
If you have watched the series "BOSH" you will see intro scenes on each episode. Wanted to try to duplicate that theme using R.G. supplied image.
Editing is done in Photoshop. 1) Reduced the height to make it look more landscape giving it more width.
2) Brightened image and opened the shadows. 3)Duplicated the image then doubled the canvas height. 4) Flipped the second image and lowered it. 5) Placed a black layer behind the bottom image. 6) Lowered the opacity of the bottom image to darken the bottom image. 7) The final edit was adding a golden graduated band in the middle warming up the image from center outwardly.

Here's mine. All done in AFFINITY v2.
I tried to take some some of the light reflection in the sky, intensfied the red and took the yellow done a few % to try and acheive a slightly cooler nightime scene. And a little sharpening / clarity over the urban landscape.
I am going for the "Just Past the Blue Hour"
All of the "Heavy Lifting" by Topaz Photo AI (Tiff file) with crop and brightness added W/PhotoScapeX
I cropped to emphasize the Eiffel Tower and show the almost hidden "Eye" to the right of the tower at the skyline.
The smaller buildings around the Eiffel Tower are there to establish scale.
Perhaps the 9 PM nightly light show is just starting?
I hope that this makes you . . .

Edit: There are some very nice posts before mine.

Don't what it is - but it's not the EIFFEL Tower. Looks more like something specifically built for Communications to me.

Whoops, you are right John.
Mr. Google sez it is the Tokyo Tower, a communications and observation tower in the Shiba-koen district of Minato,
Tokyo, Japan, built-in 1958. At 332.9 meters (1,092 ft),
I did have lunch in the Paris France Eiffel Tower Restaurant.
Maybe that second bottle of wine clouded my memory.

PS: Is my edit still an acceptable entry?
My view of the Tokyo Tower. Viewed best in Download.
Used photoshop generative fill AI
I thought I would do a second entry. Went in a bit of a different direction.
My take:
Affinity v2.4.1
Replaced sky with a picture I took in Destin Florida in 2003 with my Kodak DC280,
Lighting Live Filter on City,
Tan/Orange overlay over Everything
Thank you for this image. Love the striking colors against the night sky. Decided to crop to what I considered the main subject to highlight the strength of the subjects vertical orientation, along with it's graphics and colors.
