Yes very nice shots...and that last one...super nice shot.
Thanks much. I admire your posts. I shot these through a window because I was too lazy to go out on my deck in the cold. I'm doing my part to keep these guys fat all winter.
The feeder is pulling them in on this cold day.

Great. Love those birdies this time of year.
Cool. I love these little dinosaurs.
He will perch on top of a telephone pole at the corner of my yard and go thru his songs. One day I counted 23 different sounds.
This guy rules my front yard. It was warm and windy today but he sat in the tree and let me take several shots.

I don't know why but #2 pulled me in like I was there. Beautiful.
My little summertime buddy was cold this morning. He needed a blanket last night.

I took this last Spring. Green spider on a gardenia bloom. Anybody here know what kind of spider it is?

It went fast after I posted. I'm sorry I don't have more to give away.
My dad left me a box of photography equipment before he passed several years ago. Tonite I pulled out the box and found the Gossen meter. Does anyone here have a use for it? I have no manual. It comes in a leather case. I would like for it to go to a good home since I will probably never use it. I didn't take a picture of it to post but Google search showed one just like it -

Dixiegirl, I have been admiring your photographs of birds. I love all of God's little creatures and am probably responsible for a lot of fat birds in my neighborhood as I keep them fed all year long. Thanks for the comments.
Thanks. I can adjust everything in Program mode but this was shot in Auto. It's a pretty good inexpensive camera.
Yes. The camera is a small point & shoot that I keep in a waterproof floating box until I need it. My wife has already told me I can't take the new camera in the kayak. Luckily I've only fallen in the water once and that was when I first got the kayak. Some days I am the only person on these lakes.
I posted one of these in the New Member section last week. Thanks for all the kind words. This is a great bunch of folks. Here are 3 pictures I took at one of my favorite kayaking haunts - Oak Mt State Park in Alabama. I only owned a Canon SX110 at the time and these were taken in Auto mode. I bought the SX50 HS last week based on comments from this website.
