I too have been a long time sufferer of lower back pain as I have 3 vertebrae in my lower back fused 3 years ago and I'm the proud owner of 2 bars and 8 titanium screws in my back. I also have 3 other vertebrae that I will have to deal with sometime down the road. So I'm very careful of what I carry and how much. I use the Optech sling and only carry my Canon 6D and whatever lens I'll be using at that particular time. I've also given up trying to carry more than one lens at a time as it's too much weight on my back. Not only has the sling been a lifesaver for me, I've had to learn to think ahead on what lens I'll be using. I hope you find something that will help you with your situation. I'm sold on Optech and what it does for me, and I guess you can say it's been a lifesaver.

In my humble opinion, people who are serious about image quality will stick with their DSLR or Mirrorless camera. They may use their cell phone for a quick capture.

Right now CG Pro and Canvas on Demand have specials going on. I just ordered 2 20 x 30 (CG's deal) and 3 16 x 20 (COD's deal) yesterday.

I second the motion as I have used CG Pro with great results. Get on their e-mail list and they will send you any sales that they are having. That's the cheapest way to buy from them and they have excellent products too. Also it seems that they are coming out with something new all the time.

I realize that I'm getting into this conversation late but this is my experience. I bought a Canon 70-200 f/4 IS lens from Adorama and I mean to say I looked and looked. I decided to go after a used lens because I just couldn't see spending over $1000 on a camera lens. After looking and being very particular on what I wanted, I finally pulled the trigger on a 70-200 from Adorama that rated as an D, which means it's in top shape. When I received the lens it looked as if it was brand new, and the only thing missing was the original box and new lens warranty. I gave $899.00 for it and I was satisfied. I'm pleased with the balance and weight of the lens and it's all around operation.

I could care less how much they made off me. I've bought used from KEH before but this was the first time with Adorama. Each time I received quality merchandise, so as I said I'm happy with the purchase and I'm sure so is Adorama.

Thanks everyone!

I bought a camera self timer so that I can be in some of the pictures too!

That's a great idea that I realized too late. It wasn't until my Dad passed that I discovered that I had a bunch of pictures of him only I wasn't "with" him in the pictures. I was the guy behind the camera! My Mom is still with us, and I won't let that happen twice.....

I bought a used Canon EF 70-300mm DO IS USM Lens from KEH and it feels new, looks new, and takes excellent photos. Everything I've bought from them has always been much better than the accompanying description.

My daughter-in-law has a mark 5 II and she just loves it and she bought hers as a refurb. She really turns out some beautiful photos with hers. Good luck and enjoy the new gear...
