Hello and welcome neighbor!
Thank you! It was really by accident that I got this shot. Went to the park to hear a band, loaded up the car after the performance and just so happen to look behind me to see if I left something. And I couldn't believe what I was looking at. Needless to say I hung around for another half hour, just snapping away.
Thanks for the advice! Much appreciated. Can't wait to try em out.
That was actually funny. How about "Whacks and Cracks," I worked with quite a few of them in the auto plant a few years back.
Hey Sarge. Recently saw a documentary about how easy it is to get controlled narcotics in Florida. People were driving from as far away as Ohio to get their fix. They were lined up like they were at the DMV! That ought to tell you something. The doctors and the pharmacies are making a killing keeping people sick.
I am actually a fan of black and white portraits but in this case the color photo stands out. The skin tone in the B&W photo has a flat, matte look and the eyes have no luster. This image can be very dramatic (albeit not so innocent) if you played up the highlights and shadows with the dodge tool and the burn tool in Photoshop or some other image editing software. You would be amazed at the difference.
Lovely! What a serene, beautiful spot. You really did it justice.
Hi everyone! So glad I found this site. I took a photography course as part of my training in Graphic Design. We trained with a Canon EOS rebel. So I went out and bought one. (2011) I like it but I wish I could afford more lenses to experiment with. I have a zoom lens and a macro lens. My instructor's motto: "F8, then make it great."
