Amazing how fragmented things were then - thanks for sharing this!

I have the 200-600 and love it!
But I am 87 and confirm that the lens gets heavier as the years pass!
So that's what you may want to think about

Unfortunately, it shows that their Print software is available for W11, but not the print driver!

Thanks, i'll give it a try - I guess I was put off by a very clear statement on their website - "This printer is no longer supported."
But maybe they are exaggerating -

I have an xps8940 Dell Win 11 Pro and Canon Pro9000 working fine. Try the Pro9000 Mark II driver. This is from sketchy memory, I'll look it up.

Thanks - that would be very helpful

I just upgraded my PC to a new Dell XPS8950 with Windows 11. When I hooked everything up, I found that I needed a print driver for my Canon Pro9000 printer. The Canon website blandly says, "This Printer is no longer supported." End of statement.
Does anyone have any ideas for a solution, other than junking a perfectly good printer?
And what about Canon's support?
Thanks

But Win 11 is system dependent, so cannot be installed on all PCs. But it's still free!

One of the problems in trying to do this is that later models often have improved processors, and so the new features that are available probably will not work on an older model.

ZOOM has this capability.
In any case, all the laptops would have to be on the same network.
They could aim for the same website where the Power Point is mounted.

Sneaker Net solution would be to make up 30 thumb drives with the same presentation mounted.
[$60 in thumb drives may be far less than standing up a temporary network]

It is not necessary for all the comuters to be on the same network - they just have to have internet capability
