Nice set, John. The second one is a beauty with the plane, tree and clouds.

I don't blame you for eating the whole thing John, I would have too. Be well!

Thank you, Vince. I seem to divide my time between the drug store and the pastry store. My wish is to get rid of the drug store and find an additional pastry store.

Very interesting shot, QD. That hydrant will be well known with all those cool leading lines.

You had me from the first shot with the bacon wrapped around the pork. Many people go for the ribs first but pulled pork has always been at the top of my list and yours looks and sounds delicious. Preparation and presentation rule and you nailed them both.

Very happy to see your photos here John.

Great photo!

The only reason my food photography is anywhere, Ernesto, is because of you. I’ve been following your work and learning from your example ever since your very first food post.

Gracias Amigo,

John

We live in Ct but I often travel to Arthur Ave. in the Bronx for lunch with a friend. I’m in big trouble if I don’t come home with a few Sfogliatella for my wife.
Personally I’m a cannoli fan

Tiramisu is my favorite but my Mom was Italian so I’ve never tried an Italian dessert I didn’t like, including cannoli. Thanks for stopping by.

Great shot! Looking forward to your awesome restaurant shots... Don't be like me and start eating and realize - Dog Gone It, I wanted a pic of that....

Thank you for your comment, Yorkiebyte, I appreciate it. I share the same problem. What’s the purpose of cooking and food photography if we don’t get to eat the result.

The bottom line is my mobility is limited and my hands shake. I’m going to try putting my elbows on the restaurant table and position my forearms like a tripod to support the iPhone. If that doesn’t work, I’ll try using my DSLR on a table tripod at home and shoot take-out food. This is the only hobby I have left and I’m fighting hard not to lose it.
