No one has the guts to to the right thing. Admit you were wrong reinstate Trumps policies. Also cut off the draw government aid to those who enter illegally. Instead of letting people just walking free once they get here. Hold them put them on ships and drop them off closest to the country of origin from which they came. There is no easy solution but tough love is required.

Yes, that is what Jesus would do.

I have never supported her nor would I intend to. You can whine and cry but at least I am honest about who I support and why. You on the lying corrupt Left whine and cry about every little problem he might have while completely ignoring and supporting Left Wing corrupt politicians.

You are the one whining and crying. I frankly couldn't give a toss.

Was that an anti Semite remark I just read. WOW!!! It seems anti Semitism is on the rise from the Left while they complain about Conservatives being r****t. I have not seen Conservatives be r****t but I have seen Left Wingers be anti Semites. At least you are an honest r****t anti Semite.

"On Nov. 17 Trump hosted an Indonesian Minister's visit, a meeting not on the president's public schedule."

The Trump family have extensive business interests in Indonesia:

Looks like politics and Trump business are intertwined.

Now, step two, if you accept the Big Bang it dictates that we live in a determinist universe where the entirety of history was set in motion at that moment an every atom is on a course dictated by that event.

Agreed?

If you believe that then you also believe that there is no such thing as freedom of thought. A human brain is a physical object and is only alive while there are electrical impulses moving within it. If the path of every atom is predestined by the Big Bang then each and every human thought is also predetermined. Many would struggle with this. I remain an agnostic.

I wonder if Soba1 would agree that his later life conversion to Christianity was pre determined at the time of the big bang and that his belief in the power of pray is meaningless.

So Hawking, Greene, LeMaitre, and Hubbel were all wrong?

BTW your link claims the universe had a distinct beginning and embraces the Big Bang.

I do also.

What about you, or do you even understand what it means?

It seems you would be stumped by Newtonian physics, much less Einstein.

Do you abide by the Big Bang?

My views on the meaning of life, the existence of God and the value of science are pretty much summarised as per the following article which is an interview with Marcelo Gleiser:

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/atheism-is-inconsistent-with-the-scientific-method-prizewinning-physicist-says/

Newton rejected the concept of the Trinity. Einstein rejected Judeo-Christianity and a belief in the idea of eternal life, outright. Hawkins was an atheist. Hubble was an agnostic. Georges Lemaître was a Catholic Priest
Brian Green does not seem to admit to any religious filter which would shape his views.
(He is a very compelling and entertaining speaker.)

Do I believe in the Big Bang?
It seems the bet explanation so far.

Did time exist before the Big Bang? The mathematics that led to the theory of the Big Bang do not allow it to. To paraphrase Brian Green, how can you go further north than the North Pole?

Scientists produce scientific models. I don't pretend to be able to prove these models right or wrong. The big bang may have started from nothing or it may have been part of a continuum. What is your point?

You are using a lot of weasel words.

I mentioned no particular faith or denomination.

I asked you your opinion on how the universe came into being, and the science is quite clear.

You obviously only want to regurgitate boilerplate jibba jabba.

When you feel up to an intellectual discussion, let me know.

I don't know how the universe came into being. Neither do you. Neither does anyone know for sure. There are various models proposed, such in the following article but they are models. This is how science works. It constructs models to try and get the best fit with what can be observed, and with other models which seem to explain other parts of the jigsaw. Until a better explanation comes along.

If you have any faith in science, the answer is known.

And, yes, when you want ... and get ... answers to all your questions and then refuse to offer an opinion you come across as an empty shell intellectually.

What answer is known?
Do you honestly believe that Christianity can prove the existence of a God?
I really have no interest in how you think I "come across".
You have to believe to be a Christian. You have to disbelieve to be an atheist. The third position is that it cannot be proved either way.
That is the most honest position.

Why can’ont you answer a simple question?

So you want to label me as a coward? You also want me to offer an opinion about something that no human knows the answer to?
There is a big difference between science and religion.
You should not confuse them.
