my daughter and 2 granddaughters live in Rockford, right on the river..nice shot
you can also do a luminosity mask to select the highlights, go to channels and click the RGB channel while holding the control key down
Lord help us even THINKING about that combo
this can't be so..they have strict gun control laws in Chicago..surely the shooter/shooters didn't just disregard those...
All that has been obvious from the begining when they were trying to "sell" it to us, and not being able to do that just rammed it down our throats..We can find out what is in it after we pass it...and it is not at all surprising that insurance and health costs are going up..that was all pointed out many times..but some just can't resist something that is "free"...too bad we won't be if we don't stop this sort of insanity soon..
that isn't A point...that is THE point..of the 2nd amendment
probably drawn to the insects that the lamp draws..that is what they eat
bunk.. all of it..and I am keeping it short cause it deserves no more
the "catchlights" in the eyes are what make the eyes come alive and give them sparkle and life, please don't try to get them out..lovely daughter and nice pics also
overall the background looks very nice, the "bird" I am afraid is a dead give away that it is a composite and not blended in very well, it is too "stark" and for me the positioning and proportions look out of whack..good idea but I would "play" with it some more..feather the bird selection some, resize it and or reposition it etc..composites are great fun but not as easy as some of the pros make it look..good luck
and you will get a world of benefit from the Kelby site
a PSD file is very handy for going back and editing as you learn more about PS all the layers and all you did is saved when you "Save AS"..you can make mulitple jpg's or tiff's or whatever other format you want and your PSD will remain, when you make changes and close the PSD after editing it will ask if you want to save the changes, in most caases I say yes..then the edits are there also..PS get easier and there are a ton of online tutorials to help with almost any tool or situation ..good luck
Tripod and shutter release would be my suggestions for long exposures
the 5DMK11 is a very good landscape camera some say it is one of the best for landscapes, I use it for portraits and landscapes and I really like it..good luck
you can do a lot with the gradient tool and pretty easily change or enhance the look of a picture, it is fun to experiment with
