So where is everyone who is so "outraged" over the "murder" of "poor" little Travon Martin ! A senseless waste of life you say ? One guy gets shot, and because the liberal media fans the flames, you're all "outraged".........because the "shooter" was a hispanic man.

Now, in just one night, we have 12 people hospitalized with gunshot wounds, and 3 more in the morgue. ages ranging from 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 28, & 29

The difference this time being, all black victims, all black shooters, NO race-baiters this time, (hell, what's to "bait"?)

No, Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton will sit this one out; (can't make no bucks screaming about black dudes shooting black dudes !) So I ask you.......where's all your rage now ?

Here's a question for you; why do you think all of these guys keep shooting each other ? Do you think it's just because because they're black ? If you think that's it, I have news for you.........that isn't "it" at all. Being a particular color doesn't make you "wrong", doesn't make you a "killer", being BAD makes you these things........and there are whole bunch of "things" that make you "bad". I know....from experience. I could tell you exactly why so many black guys are committing so many crimes, but many of you wouldn't believe me, a few would complain that my post was too long and probably wouldn't read it any way. In the meantime though, if you're planning on going to Chicago, you'd better be extremely careful where you go up there, and if you know any Navy Seals, you'd better take half a dozen of them with you for protection.

But the OP's point was that this happens in relatively large numbers as black on black crime and we don't have endless coverage of each case sensationalized by the "mainstream" media. It's just business as usual.

On the other hand, this unfortunate incident between Zimmerman and Martin hits the radar of major media and race whores and we get to the point of Hollywood types trying to facilitate vigilante violence and the Black Panthers claiming to have financial support from pro athletes and celebrities to have a citizen of the United States murdered. That deserves an investigation. In the mean time, I am not feeling too inspired to attend any professional sporting events or movies.

Sensationalism in the media is rampant, and unless there's a spin, it's just not exciting enough to generate the audience. Because of that, this country is poorly aware of the real issues facing our communities.
It drives me crazy in my city that time and time again, murders happen in the poor side of town and barely make it to the news. But if there's a murder in the middle-class sector - it's on the front page. Apparenly, for the media - the importance of one's life is relative to where they live - which is of course, rediculous.

It's not Chicago, it's not race. It's lack of a future. If you are raised by wolves, you will behave like a wolf. If you are raised by an illiterate mother with no values and you are not brought up to think that you can make something of yourself, and you enter school never having held a book, you fail in school. And when you fail in school, the only thing that offers anything to you is the street. At that point it is about survival. If you hustle some drugs you can earn some money. Pretty soon it gets more serious - defending your turf, hitting back at the competition. It's all about survival. These are kids who never had any options. When he ran for president, ex-New York Mayor Giuliani was taken to task by conservatives because he allowed children of undocumented ( "illegal" ) aliens to attend school. His response: "So do you want 30,000 kids hanging out on the streets with nothing to do - growing into 30,000 adults with no education - hanging out on our streets? - We thought not." It's a complex problem that will take a lot to fix. Change will have to happen at the family level - in infancy. Not sure how that is going to happen...
