I'm such a klutz... I'm constantly activating the delayed timer! Missed several great shots recently. Seemed like every time I put the camera up to my eye to take a quick shot there was that little clock in the viewfinder... Very frustrating!

You're not a klutz, I do it all the time! The placement of that option is my ONLY complaint about the camera. It is very frustrating and I have to concentrate hard to use only my thumb for stabilizing. But it is soooo worth it :) Some shots from this weekend with the Powershot SX50 HS...

Sound like you need to call the White House, talk to the Son of Islam....they will get you in touch with "pete the photographer" and help him spread his wealth...to supply you with your pie in the sky wishes...

At this time don't plan on spreading mine!!!

These are awesome! I thought she would have chewed the worms a bit first? Nice to see a full nest though. I've had a lot of hawk interference here. I've taken to running out back like a viking berserker when I see them. The new momma's don't appreciate what I'm doing, their more scared of me now than the hawks!

I am so jealous and so happy for you at the same time! I was trying to get perspective on size and then realized you said geranium....they must have been so tiny. Your shots of them are beautiful!

These are very nice. My advice is to always put your back to the wind and take a deep breath and hold it. I have nearly passed out from lack of air for every jumping spider shot I've got but it is totally worth it!

I have the P500 and it has the view finder. The coolpix line is big and covers a lot of sizes, the small ones don't have the viewfinder. I think only the "P" line has it

[quote=Annie_Girl]actually that one wasn't even the worst I have seen posted there. Have you seen blue baby? ohhhh boy http://youarenotaphotographer.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/baby.jpg

Yikes! Thanks for that! I think that baby just stole a wee bit of my soul, very creepy.

Every time I see an image with selective color, I have to stifle my gag reflex, but this may have exceeded even that threshold:

And I'm sad to report this is a setting on a point and shoot camera, both Nikon & Canon, it is referred to as their "creative" settings.

I use it myself with the IPad but for me it is more therapy than anything else. It's never occurred to me to try and sell them.

Thank you! Today the excitement continued! I had a yard full of juvenile Red-winged Blackbirds learning to fly!

I have the sx50 and love it, the quality of the pic is awesome, but it was to have replaced my Nikon P500 which I keep for it's macro shots, tough decision.
