So, you are not hiding anymore.

Sorry, got rid of my darkroom stuff in the last quarter of the last century. If I had anything, who would spring for shipping?

At the moment it would have to be you. Like I said I am just starting out and I really don't have the funds yet. I am just very determined to learn as much as I can and I need all of your help because I know you love photography as much as I do. Maybe you could just share with me first the equipment that I would need minus the cameras and two tripods that I have.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I thought the same thing. He could go to any thrift store or high school and find some old obsolete dark room equipment.

...I've been in touch with the UK Post Office and they've told me that they can't deliver British Politicians to the USA! Unless...YOU...give them a job...maybe smiling while holding a kid or smiling while lying through their back teeth (something politicians excel at). Well at least they'll be in good company! LOL.

I'm sorry but I see nothing weird about it. I just want to have my own studio if I was in the position to help someone else out I would. Maybe someday God willing I will be.

Sorry lilac, please read again what you posted. That did come across as a little weird.

I posted the link for the PDF for the Dean Collins "Tinkertubes" book a few weeks ago. It contains plans for making lighting reflectors, scrims, etc from PVC pipe, ripstop nylon fabric, and other readily available materials. Search used bookstore for Petersen's Photographic Big Book of Darkroom- lots of things to improvise as homemade.

Lilac, might I suggest you look on one of the craigslist sites. I managed to pick up an entire dark room and a couple of enlargers that way! Just keep checking every day and one should pop up in your area. Might I also suggest checking out Freestyle Photographic Supplies.

I posted the link to their darkroom supplies page
http://www.freestylephoto.biz/c1600-Darkroom-Supplies

Freestyle Photographic is one of the main sources most of us students go to in order to get our darkroom materials during the summer semester when the equipment cage and Darkroom at school are closed down.

Best of Luck.

Doogie

Sound like you need to call the White House, talk to the Son of Islam....they will get you in touch with "pete the photographer" and help him spread his wealth...to supply you with your pie in the sky wishes...

At this time don't plan on spreading mine!!!
