It would look a whole lot better if you put the toilet lid down.

I did intend for this to happen. I simply could not let such cute little critters starve. I fed them tuna fish and gave them a bowl of water. I also chased away a big raccoon who was threatening them. Now they seem to think I'm their mother. They follow me around when I'm in the yard. They come to me when I whistle.

Having four skunks as pets was not my plan.

A few days ago a skunk was run over on the road near my mail box. Today I saw what I assume are her pups. Four baby skunks were moving as one through my overgrown lawn. The animals cling to each other and crawl over each other. When I first spotted them I though it was a big snake, because of the undulating, serpentine like motion they were making. I ran in my house and attached my longest lens, a 300mm f/2.8, to my camera and ran back outside. I stayed a safe distance away so I would not get sprayed. From the way they moved, I don't think they could see yet. They did respond to the sound of my camera and moved towards me. I beat a hasty retreat back into the house after taking 105 photos!

Great shots, it brings back memories to when I had two pet skunks. They make great pets, they are clean, very intelligent, love to play and easier to potty train then a cat.

Here's a simple falls I ran into (not Hawaii)-

I don't want to be negative about your images, but you do need to work on your sharpness/focusing and exposure. I can see from this image you probably used auto focus, and auto exposure. If you have any questions about my comments I would like to help, please send me a PM. Thanks

I don't know if this is common across the US. Outwest we have lots of these trees, Known as shoe trees. I have seen several, but nothing compared to this particular tree.

Extension tubes are made primarily to put on a lens and this allows you to focus closer with that lens then you could normally. I hope this explanation helps.

Strawberries are just coming into season here in Oregon. Nothing taste better then strawberry short cake. It was fun coming up with this idea and then shooting it.
