Well...how refreshing!
That's great...very creative.
I like the side lighting, the texture, everything.
My only suggestion would be to now "juice it up" some....you've got a very VERY solid image...what about dribbling a bit of juice on the lower part of the clamp or something like that....?
I'm just brainstorming...this is a good image as is.

yes squeeze it a little and some juice running down, then make me a strawberry margarita! Very creative and sharp in focus great color photo!!

Strawberries are just coming into season here in Oregon. Nothing taste better then strawberry short cake. It was fun coming up with this idea and then shooting it.

We just made a bunch of chocolate-bourbon cupcakes w/ strawberry icing. :D
