CS5?

If so simply find the actions palette box, select the drop down menu (right corner of the actions palette box) and find "load actions", find you way to the folder you saved your actions to and select.

Viola! Your actions have be loaded into CS5

Thank you!! Where is the actions palette box? Haha If I don't use it all the time I have no idea where it is!
Is it the same in Elements 8?

I never knew that you could even do this! If I can figure it out (or get help) it would save a lot of time!

I have a friend that recently got some new edit presets and we have been trying to figure out how to download them into her photoshop. I have no idea how to do this. Do any of you? Hopefully so! Thanks in advance! :)

Here are a few from a shoot I did over the weekend. Playing around in photoshop trying to learn some new techniques.

I would say for just playing around you have a pretty good eye. This is how you get better. Keep playing around, and listen to most of the advise you will get from other photographers. And like what is said above, if the shot turned out the way you wanted it to, that is success whether is good or not....

Thank you! I will gladly listen to and try any advice given to me

Tough to tell if you've actually done the "still life thing" yet. This situation is a good example where it would be great if you could submit a "contact sheet" so we could see if this is the result of conscious, methodical, systematic exploration of the subject or just a pretty accident.

Did this photo turn out like you expected the moment you pushed the button? If so, success! If it was a surprise then it's time to explore what went right in this situation and prepare to repeat the process.

Contact sheet?
That's what I was shooting for. Just playing around. Wasn't expecting the reflection though.

Depending on how bad it is you can unsharp mask. That will just sharpen the edges though

This was my first attempt at still life. Is there any tip or pointers? Not planning on doing too much of it...just wanted to be able to say I've done it.

And thank you all! :) I'm so glad I'm not the only one who really liked this! My husband thought I was weird when I showed him and told him how much I loved it! But, he's not a big photo person. Thank you!

Great Picture but your signature on being so large takes away from the picture,

Thank you. That doesn't go on all my photos...just the prints that I put online to sell. It's my copyright information so people don't just print them off the internet. Meant to upload the original on here but hit the wrong one.
