I love to take pics... Especially close ups and stop-motion. While that's true, I'm looking for tips to make my content to be more "artsy" and professionally marketable.

Greetings to you and welcome to UHH.

JKLOUS: Hay, be sure to retard the spark!!!

My dad and I had just finished bolting the engine in to my 1929Model A, in 1956. We had just overhauled it. Dark outside, Dad said in the morning we will get it started. Me, no lets do it now. So, he hooked a chain up and pulled me... engine would not start... turned over OK... perhaps a mile later of choking and playing with the ears.. i looked down and the key was not on. OH OK, when I turned it on the exhaust system was filled with explosive mix... the car lifted the neighborhood lit up... the wooden floor boards lifted and when the pyrotechnics was over... the engine was quietly turning over like a purring cat. My ears were ringing.

That Muffler was 2' long and thankfully the seam pointed down otherwise I would have been surly hurt. The muffler was split open fully. Live and Learn or die trying.

I know very well about retarding the spark...:) I learned real quick!!
I can imagine the scene when you got the Model A started...you were very lucky there. I always loved the sound of the Model A idling slow enough to count every beat...the mufflers have a very unique sound.

That left lever caused a lot of pain to those who didn't use it properly.

Or didn't know how to use it properly...:) Lots of broken arms caused by that lever as well as holding the crank improperly.

The emergency brake lever confused a lot of people too...:)

The Model T even had cruise control...:) the left lever was to advance and retard the timing and the right one was the throttle. When the throttle lever was set to a position, it did not change...cruise control...:)
Wow, automatic transmission, cruise control, air conditioned in the winter time and heated in summer...:) Many times I took the top floor board out to stay warm.

Really doesn't change my opinion of feinstein or her husband! You seem like a reasonably smart guy, so I probably don't need to explain.

As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic M0RON."

Nice cutaway. Brings back lots of memories.
I built a 1921 Model T Speedster with a 1926-27 transmission, rear end, and wire wheels when I was in high school. I remember adjusting those bands many times.

This is a really nice post. Scale planes are always cool to look at, especially in flight. My planes all look like crap and are held together with duct tape and super glue.

My planes don't look the best either...I fly SPADs...Simple Plastic Airplane Designs... More bounce to the ounce...:

Very nice photos
