Thought I would post a few pictures of this event that I attended yesterday. Hard to believe that these are just radio control. Most of the Jets are running aviation fuel. Hope you enjoy!

I'm not an airplane person but must admit these are good shots and fun to see.

Thanks for the comments. I believe I shot all those photo's with a nikon 70-300 without vr. Saving to get the new Tamron 70-200 2.8. That T-34 is a work of art. Even the landing gear was all designed and built by hand. And the owner/pilot, Mike Barbee, can fly with the best.

This is a really nice post. Scale planes are always cool to look at, especially in flight. My planes all look like crap and are held together with duct tape and super glue.

Yes, I was impressed at how well some of the photo's came out. Am going to sell this lens and put the money toward the new Tamron 70-200 2.8. Great comments on this lens, comparing it to the Nikon and the Canon. Matt, "that nikon guy" on you-tube, had some nice things to say with regards to this lens. One of the pro photographers at the event yesterday, was shooting with one and he loves it.

The main thing is, you enjoy the hobby. Between planes and camera's, I need a job to support these habits! lol

Great pics.
Where was this at?

RC is another one of my hobbies, I mostly fly quad rotors and helicopters.
My friend is the "test pilot" for a company making a scale 9 cylinder radial engine.
You can see the engine in the 2nd video.

Great shots, never tried it, but I can imagine they aren't easy to capture. Well done!

I'm familiar with Authentic Scale. We had been waiting on one of his engines, but couldn't wait any longer. Purchased the Moki for a CARF Corsair. Hope to have it flying in the next 30 days.
The photo's I shot were at Monster Planes, in Lakeland, FL
This is where they have Florida Jets and Top Gun as well. My 7th year attending. Awesome event.
