Mine came loose and the camera fell to the ground

Same here, luckily the camera suffered only damaged sling triangular clip on the right corner of my 850. I was sweating bullets for a few moments, until the camera proved to be ok itself.
It was on the car sidewalk show. Still do not know how it happen, but it was my fault I am not blaming the Nikon strap manufacturer for it.
It is however my belief that the end of the strap ribbon should have provision to insert some kind of restriction, or a little ball, sort of a large BB or a key ring shape to prevent the end of the strap ribbon to slide completely out, once installed into mounting clips.
Man o man what a sick feeling it was having the heavy D850 bounce on the sidewalk...............

Thanks to @geo****aerial engineering we are still alive. We would all be either fried or even have somekind of suntain, like people suffered in the years past on beaches. Those beautiful chemical cocktails are great because they protect us from such horrible things. Such a beautifull sight for photographers too, with all the rainbow colours at times. Must cost a bundle though, but well worth it. We got too many people on earth anyway, even learned mR. gattes said so! So many photographers look for them, to insert them into borring blue skys.

FedEx sent notice they delivered two pkgs to me this afternoon at 12:07 pm. According to the info, they were left outside my locked gate. I don’t have a gate to lock. I don’t even have a fence to hold up a gate to lock! My driveway is much shorter & not dirt/gravel! Last, but not least, I don't have a tree of this size or shape anywhere near me! My neighbors don’t recognize the delivery area either!
If you received these pkgs, please message me. I’d like to find my 2-slice toaster & 2 containers of dry coffee creamer!

Samantha90,
I know the feeling as I too lost 2500.00 generator from Amazon. Shipped via DHL... Newer even seen it, in November last year. The DHL apparently delivered it and get this: not once but twice to my place. Nothing on my security cameras, but squirells and rabbits on aleged delivery days. Amazon sided with DHL and suspended my account even when I supplied all the conflicting documentation, which essence said: Delivered (both times...the second delivery took place at (9:27 afternoon) but Visa came trough for full amount refund.
Sure hope You get Your money back!

Right! The delivery man left it in the wrong place, or the customer ordered the wrong item.

Jerry Youre not allone, I got same thing happen to me a month ago, in November. Bought a pricey dual fuel generator and that how far I got. The seller claimed as shipped, the DHL claimed as delivered not once but Twice! first delivery oct. 26 at 2pm and then again on november 1 at 9:00 pm while their web site states the delivery times ending at 6 pm! (the DHL avoided the claim that they delivered to My address though and that was it. Both times the only word posted was *Delivered*
When launching complain with Amazon it got nowhere. They claimed that whilst communicating with DHL they are convinced that the generator got in fact Delivered. So much so that they Cancelled my Account, even when I supplied all the info and had Prime subscription. They were of no help and sided with Seller and DHL version of Delivered.
Fortunately for me my Visa provider scrutinized all the screen shots I took of all transactions and Tracking info and refunded me.
That is one for Visa and zero for Amazon/DHL In my case the Prime membership was not worth a dime!

You might want to reasses your stance on the effectiveness of Ivermectin.

There are published reports available at Google Scholar concerning Ivermection and its degree of effectiveness (or not).

It would seem this is another instance where individuals need to research, assess and make decisions based upon best-available-evidence.

And there is always a question of whether or not it would be possible to acquire Ivermectin at all.

From an article from the Government's National Institute(s) of health (NIH):

”Ivermectin (IVM) is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent approved by the FDA, which demonstrated antiv***l activity against several DNA and RNA v***ses (Formiga et al., 2021).

The antiv***l mechanism of action of IVM is to inhibit nuclear import of host and v***l proteins, thereby inhibiting v***l replication; the most common dose of its tablet administration in clinics is 200 μg/kg.

IVM is widely distributed throughout the body after absorption and has the highest concentration in the liver and adipose tissue and is usually oxidized to metabolites in the liver. The most common adverse reactions include elevated t***saminases, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, decreased leukocyte count, allergic reactions, and ocular impairment (Ozer et al., 2022). In the clinical reports, it has been found that the use of IVM will also produce self-limiting ototoxicity, particularly manifested as vestibular lesions (Little and Cosetti, 2021). There are many discussions on its effect in controlling the course and restoring health in patients with C****-**. . .”

Hard to believe there's so much cool-aid available! 1984, Brave New World and Animal Farm are nearly upon us in full effect!!! (And George Orwell was a l*****t!) The 1984 "Ministry of T***h" and "Doublethink" are with us now!!! I just hope the Philippines doesn't completely go the way of the US. I have not had any v*****e or "v*****e" for 50 years or more and will not succumb to the dictates to become one of the sheep - or more precisely, lemmings!!! Two years or so ago I had the CCP v***s - for less than a week - and it barely was noticeable.

My motorcycle accident at age 86 (8 years ago) put me in the hospital for over a month with a broken neck, but that's the only stay in a hospital for me, and for probably at least 45 years I never saw a doctor for anything!!! I was back on motorcycles as soon as possible after the accident - and to this day.

Obviously a sane soul, wonder sometimes where did the normal flu disapeared in last two years. It was always a big deal to get people to take seasonal flu shots. Every year, no exceptions, except for the last two.....Keep the rubber side down, and happy riding!

USB cables do go bad occasionally. I recently had two of them stop working, sort of. In both cases, they were for external drives. The drives would light up, but the computer couldn't access them. They were providing power, but not data. Trying other cables solved both problems. So, the next time you have trouble accessing an eternal device, try different cables for a cheap fix.

So true, something I to forget sometimes and blame it on external hard drive first.

I use Google Photos for sharing pictures. I can put a group into an album and share just that album.

That is the important thing, at least for may way of thinking too. As there is a need to make a single picture available to someone, whereas the talk is about an Album....which we associate with multiple pictures to which one does not provide access. How does one deal with allowing access to a single specific image in a (Album) as it were?

Jerry, that brings up another point...Eagles are birds. And with the billions of birds on God's green earth, they all look the same. If you've seen one bird on UHH, you've seen 'em all. Same goes for flowers.

There is, IMO, an extreme overload of bird & flower pictures on UHH. I sure wish that Admin would create two separate sections on UHH, one for birds, and one for flowers. That would then save the Photo Gallery from housing those overload of pictures that all look the same. Then, anyone who is interested in seeing pictures of birds/flowers can subscribe to those sections.
