Hi James F.: I'm reasonably certain as long as your Canon Rebel T3 will take an EF lens (red dot as opposed to the white square if it has both it will take both EF and EF-S) you will have no problems of any kind. Here is a website that covers just about every Canon lens out there as to quality and usage, it also covers lens compatibility. http://photonotes.org/articles/beginner-faq/lenses.html. Under the UHH FAQ Sensor Sizes Chart Nikonian72 has posted an excellent example of the difference between a full frame 35mm and various cropped sensor cameras, it has not only an easy to understand coverage chart but also a photo showing what you actually see and take with both the full frame vs cropped frame cameras. Note the image sizes are exactly the same with both sensors, the difference is how much more area around the subject is included with a full frame sensor. At the very top of the forum page, you see Ugly Hedgehog - Photography Forum Just below that there is a list of tabs the third one is search, click on that and type in FAQ: Sensor Sizes Chart hit enter the information and the chart should come right up. You might also use the help tab, last in the first row of tabs. to gain the same FAQ information. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I just want to make sure the lens will work with the camera before I bought it. I plan on buying the 5D Mark II camera body after this purchase.

My current camera body is a Eos Rebel T3 and I wanted to invest some hard earned money for the "EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM" Canon lens. I looked on a website "http://lenshero.com" to see if the lens was able to function correctly on my camera since it is a crop frame sensor & the lens is built for full frame sensors. The website said that it was compatible with the Rebel T3 but I don't know if the website is reliable. I have had some photographers tell me that I would get like a black shadow around the edge of my photographs because it was a crop frame sensor. I don't want to have to upgrade my camera body just to use the lens. Please help. Thanks.

I edited my photos in lightroom 4 and when i take them to get printed some look the way they did on the screen and every so many i would find one that is too dark or too saturated or. I figured it might be from the way the photo centers printers are calibrated. I was told each place is calibrated differently. I get my photos printed at places like sams club, walmart, ect. How can i prevent this from happening to my prints?

Photo #10 my favorite. Haven't seen barbed wire shot that way before + I'm a fan of unbalanced compositions with good use of negative space. #3 - I like the angle very much + that it's in b&w. I don't care for out-of-focus foreground elements when prominent, so that does subtract a bit for me.

I assigned myself the task of taking photos of leading lines. I would like to hear your opinion on your favorite shots.

I have been taking photos for the school yearbook & newspaper. I am taking a photo class in school & plan on going to bc3 for a class.

I have also done photography for other people. If u want to see some of the photos I don't post on here go to my facebook page "J. Fleming Photography" to view them. Type that into the google search bar and it's the first result.
