One thing wabbit does brilliantly...makin me laff
If you have a friend with a photo printer, they sell canvasses that you can print yourself.
My camera store friend steered me away fromnm everything else to the 10-22 lense for my canons. I've never regrettted it. And he didn't sell me the lense either.
Good point on the lighting; however i have found that some producers consistently result in slightly darker or lighter than the original even without any further adjustments. It may take a couple of tries before you get the colour and light perfect. It's better to do this in person than on line.
I usually go past Staples myself.
I have noticed some weathermen will give you the sunrise and sunset times on the late weather. As we move into spring it is worth noting that the length of day increases by as much as 5 minutes either side of the day every day. The best time for shooting always seems to me to be just before sunrise and just after sunset.
The concept of RESPONSIBLE gun ownership is one that always leaves me wondering just how that would work? It seems that the problem is finding out who is irresponsible and then trying to take their weapons away from them before they do damage.
And the bloody best of luck trying that on for size.
I've had a few issues with stuff from e-bay but never have I been left holding the bag. One that springs to mind was a very nice lense that I bought on speculation but it turned out to be for a different camera than what was advertised. I got both the cost and the shipping returned by the seller.
Very nice work, well done
There is nothing that someone cannot make a little poorer and sell a little cheaper and those who consider price first are this man's target market. If I have a camera and lense combination worth thousands, it seems silly to try and go cheap on the tripod.
My 50 is used for just about everything; it's the one lense that is always within easy reach if not on the camera. I started with the 1.8 doing pictures of grandchildren and discovered it was also effective for night photography and no-flash shots. I took it to a hockey game for a few player pictures and will be taking prints back to get autographed. Five words of advice on your fifty "Don't Leave Home Without It"
Struggling with a virus infection that managed to get across my laptop into the external hard drive; I've had the technicians from a well known antivirus company struggling with this one for several days. They've cleaned the laptop twice but the reinfection keeps coming back which indicates that the disease has spread to the external hard drive. They are worried that it may mean a complete wipe of the external unitn to resolve the problem. Fortunately, all my photos are still on the original chips so even if they do wipe the external drive, I'm okay. Sort of. But external hard drives are NOT necessarily an inassailable bastion of security.
I agree with Nikon Jon. Thefts of specific equipment invariably mean that someone familiar to your house is responsible.
Actually potato water is a good fog preventative; I play a lot of paintball and fogging was always a problem until someone gave me that tip. I triple filter the water and keep it in a spray, good for glasses, masks and bathroom mirrors. As for camera lenses? Never tried it there.
It's alchemy. Half science/half art/all consuming passion for capturing a fleeting image in an eternal medium. God I love it.
