Thanks for that. Am hoping to get the Tamron 150-600 but Santa is not playing the game.
Hello folks. I have Nikon D3200 and 55-300 lens. Shoot mostly wildlife. Is there anything out there worthwhile anybody has used to extend as can't afford longer lens at moment.
Regards, Tom.
I find the 18-105 a great walk about town lens. I have 55-300 for wildlife which is great. Did have the 55-200 but not quite long enough.
Spot metering most important.
Seen a review in NPhoto magazine. Said the Tamron 16-300 was much better than Nikon 18-300 and cheaper.
Tried it a few times on my D32OO. Just cant get used to it. Using two fingers a pain in the bum.
Nikon D3200. Great camera.
If you happen to b on Flickr every photo has the shutter count in EXIF info.
Read a good review in Nphoto mag looking at several zooms. Tamron 16-300 a clear winner.
As I have been considering the same I seen a good review in Nphoto mag. It was between Nikon 18-300, Sigma 18-300 and Tamron 16-300. Tamron won hands down and is cheapest.
Just been having a go in garden with a field mouse on bird feeder. A bit hit and miss.
I have just set it. It seems like a lot of hassle having to hold another button down whilst firing or am I doing something wrong?
Taken last night about 10.30pm.
That is what I would like.
I had 18-55 and 55-200. Sold both and got 18-105 for walkabout town and 55-300 for wildlife. Well pleased.
