I notice that is an industrial type sewing machine. With heavy patches and leather jackets it is just the right equipment. I suspect he probably gets a brisk amount of business at motorcycle, auto and sports events. My wife used to do seamstress work on the side and I can attest to the fact that not many know how to sew or have the proper equipment for heavy duty sewing. It is a very interesting photo Voss and I was quite intriqued with it. You never cease to amaze me with the topics you get photos of.

For 10 feet how about a spiral ramp - obviously can't be a tight spiral as with stairs but might be worth invetigating & should be a lot less expensive.

That might work well for some but not the wheelchair bound or those with severe breathing problems. However a glide chair and a few wheelchairs at the upper level for in house use would be much less expensive.

It looks to be an overcast day which adds a somber mood to everything in the photo. As has been noted the contrast is great and expression on her face all add to a superb piece of work. Outstanding photo Voss.

I think they are a couple. Notice they both are looking at the black guy and apparently are awaiting a reply. The gent on the right appears to be just hanging out. It makes for an interesting shot with opprotunity for several different interpretations. Street photography at its best. Kudos Voss.

Nice take. I suspect he will be pushing that big broom. She kooks a bit frail as if she was either ill or recovering from a recent bout of some malady.

Perhaps they wonder if dog is on the menu. They wouldn't want to take their dog in there. One of your better shots Voss.

At least they are talking face to face. In this day and age most would be texting each other even at that distance. Nice shot Voss.

You sure have a lot of problems don't you?

The more stuff you accumulate the more problems you will have. Perhaps less is more would apply to Jerry's problem list?

You asked about the advertising signs and yes I have seen many of them. We have a restaurant chain in the States called the Cracker Barrel that have all sorts of antique items hanging on the walls. I have seen several of that type sign in their establishments. We used to have a patent medicine factory in our small town that used that type of sign to advertise their Raymond's little pills. I love the photos you posted. It looks like a peaceful place to live unlike the madhouse we call living today.

She sure is polished up. Looks like a lot of TLC invested in her. Definitely a beautiful set of photos. I liked the close up of the running gear. The number of rivets in the tender is amazing. They were built for rugged use that us for sure.

Dear SharpShooter;
Thank you for your response to my recent post on UHH. I would like to elucidate a few of your misconceptions.
I am neither mentally challenged nor do I suffer from a low intelligence quotient. Because my question was original and not a quote you assumed I was ,"stuttering my insecurities out loud". Your assumption was wrong. I'm a fiercely independent woman who created and ran two businesses for nearly fifty nine years, provided for my retirement through wise investments and am still standing tall although my life has been altered by illness .
Now then, shall we speak about your difficulties?

Do you usually resort to negative labeling in response to a question you are not capable of answering? Does a challenging idea always reduce you to verbal denigration? Is it ubiquitious to your nature to make common use of terms such as "r****ded", "stupid", "stuttering" when discussing serious issues?

In closing. If your intent was to hurt and injure another with your unkind words then you achieved your goal. If your intent was to stimulate thought or resolve an issue then you failed.
Dear SharpShooter; br Thank you for your response ... (show quote)

Great reply Wuligal

All of you presume the woman who has come forward is lying because it fits your political agenda. What if she’s telling the t***h? It seems to me that if you’re a liar, the last thing you want is the FBI investigating your story. Yet she is the one asking for that to happen. Do the investigation before going any further. If she’s found to be telling the t***h, reject the nominee at once. If she’s not, throw the book at her and lock her a$$ up for as long as the law allows.

Perhaps she did that hoping that they wouldn't but that it would make her story more plausible. I think Kavanaugh did the wise thing by telling his interrogators to do what they thought neccessary. In other words let it be on your head, not mine.
