I have one simalar to this. I use it when I need a good photo when selling small items online. It does a great job.

That's why professionals go drink coffee or go into the woods between 10 and 4PM. A single shot (the sensor in the camera cannot handle the spead of light between bright light and black). Shoot only in the shadows and use a fill flash although I dislike shooting with a on camera flash.

I guess I'm at a loss to see the issue of working with JPEGs. Open a JPEG and then closing it (without saving) does nothing to the file. Opening a JPEG, making changes, saving changes and closing degradates the file. Guess what? If you open a JPEG, make changes, save the file ARE YOU READY FOR THIS, renaming the file (save as) you do nothing to the original file and yes you do wind up with 2 files. OK?????

You will wind up with more then on bag. First to hold all your photo equipment, your second, third, fourth, etc. for what you need for the shoot. Good luck trying to get by with one...... I don't know anyone who's been in photography for any period of time that doesn't have a number of bags. Sorry, that's just part of it......

I love all the new equipment on the market. It's funny; a year ago we were all sitting around biting our lip, afraid the big cameras were going away. I guess Nikon has shown us they are planning on being around for the foreseeable future. Love it. I'd like to say more but I have to go out and buy a new piece of equipment.

I am an old B & W, Zone System, dark room guy. Where applicable, and there are of course exceptions, I like to use the proper, full range, From zone 0 to 10 on my photos. This is very subjective from photographer to photographer and not all photo can use all zones, ie High key photos as well as others.
That's why I find and use Photoshop such a valuable program. I was taught: Make a great Black and White and then add color. Pay attention to the histogram.
Remember the old Bessler 23c and a Cold light and the smell of the dark room.

I have used onOne products for years along with Photoshop. There resize has been a standard for years. I'm not a fan of presets. Although I fully support onOne I still prefer Photoshop. A little more straight forward, not quite as gimmicky. Photoshop not LR and then onOne for sure. It's hard to go wrong with Photoshop. Sorry all you PS haters. Oh, OnOnes customer service is second to none. Terrific people to deal with. Photoshop could take a lesson from them.

Very happy with Costco. Post process all my photos in Photoshop and off to Costco. Lots Canvas and large prints. They are set up for sRBG. They print a little dark for my monitor so the last process in PP is to Brighten the image. I always use the same Costco location.

I bought a refurbed D7100. This camera must have been one of there Demo Cameras. The first thing I did upon receiving it was to check the click count. It had taken 8 pictures total. I have had the camera for about 2 years now and I love it. I have owned a number of Nikon digitlal cameras. I forget what I paid for it but it was substantially reduced. Worked out for me very well.

Sell it right away. Good down payment on that next lens. You can always buy one back; used if need be.
