People are so easily fooled that his tactic can't lose. Present advertising as news.

I thought 66 years of Minnesota winters were enough and I was tired of paying state income tax and about $1000/year for plates for our cars as well as ridiculous real estate taxes. We are now full time residents of Florida and, as I said before, we love it.
Most of the Florida natives we have met are doing well so I don't understand your comment about no living wage. If you are talking about the minimum wage I will support that when military personnel start making enough to get off food stamps.
I realize some people have been dealt a bad hand when it comes to life, and those people need help. I also realize there are a lot more underachievers and whiners out there who feel they are owed a living. I don't know which category you fall into, if any or them. If you were dealt a bad hand, I'm sorry, if you fall into the other two, get off your butt and do something about it.

You sure are full of your self.you sound like a typical newbie to FL.i can't blame you for leaving Minnesota. But you don't sound too happy to me.It seems you know more FL. natives than i,go figure.I'm sure the natives don't tell you how they really feel,as they probably see right through you.I did not know military personnel needed food stamps.I have family who have been in the military and have never mentioned this.I am embarrassed by my country which treats the military so badly. The republicans notoriously try to reduce their benefits.I hope you drop your bad attitude and enjoy your stay in Florida.

It is much less expensive to live here than in Minnesota where we moved from. Why, because Minnesota is one of the great welfare states and someone has to pay for it. And if you don't like Florida, why not leave? I love it down here.

Too bad you had to leave Minnesota, where you made your fortune.I guess they don't pay a living wage there.Good thing you didn't have to work for scraps here in FL.There is no living wage here.If you think this is not a welfare state you have your head in the sand.I was born here in FL.and i want to make it a better place to live. Not just suck off of the locals and trash the state.

I don't think it will make much of a dent in this republican state of FL.It has to be one of the most corrupt states in the union.Taxes or what ever they like to call them have risen for the twenty years iv'e been here by republicans.
The only thing that will change this is when the blacks, gays, women, the Hispanic,Jew,many christian denominations and others who have been oppressed by the republicans-conservative-join together and defeat by election(hopefully) these abusers of freedom of all sort.I hope they wake up and realize freedom isn't free nor equality for all,not the few.

Janny got done with the painting yesterday. She really made my work shine. I have about 261 hours in the piece. And have been working on and off for about 4-5 months. And Janny took about 2 weeks to paint it on and off. With her help, I think this is my best one to date! Oh, I got glass eyes for it. Those were fun to set in!:)

The mother-in-law arrives home from the shops to find her son-in-law
Paddy in a steaming rage and hurriedly packing his suitcase.

"What happened Paddy?" she asks anxiously.

“What happened?? I'll tell you what happened! I sent an e-mail to my
wife telling her I was coming home today from my fishing trip. I get home ... and guess what I found? Yes, your daughter, my wife Jean, naked with Joe Murphy in our marital bed!

This is unforgivable, the end of our marriage. I'm done. I'm leaving forever!"

“Ah now, calm down, calm down Paddy!" says his mother-in-law. "There is something very odd going on here. Jean would never do such a thing! There must be a simple explanation. I'll go speak to her immediately and find out what happened."

Moments later, the mother-in-law comes back with a big smile.

“Paddy. I told you there must be a simple explanation ... she never got your e-mail!"
