News shows have been using corporate "news releases" for years in order to lower production costs and fill content. this is not that different.

I remember when you got cable to avoid advertising,it was great for a short time.Now i fight with my mute button and loud commercials ,channel surfing and then forget what i was watching.

Speaking of the Mute button, more and more shows have background music that is louder than the diaglo. What's the story with that.
There was a science series on a couple of years ago, and the presenter commented to the producers that their music was too loud in comparison to his narration. That was the way they wanted it.
I always have closed captions switched on.

I figure they have no content in the dialog so they blast music.Then in between and during the dialog they blast music so i'm up or down with the volume.I hate it,my closed caption has a malfunction issue.
