We live in NW D'port on Oakbrook. I never worry about the wires. The can always be rubbed out if it was going on the wall! I usually shoot from my car so sometimes it works out where that was not a good plan!

Look later I plan on posting a few shots tonite I took today in Illinois.

Rick

I will do that. I was just in Oakbrook today, I'm a "banker" (hate that word) and handle new construction and development work so make numerous inspections. I probably did 75% of the new construction loans to contractors in that subdivision

Thanks banker! What part of Iowa are you calling home?

Rick

I live in east central Davenport by Duck Creek park. I get down by the barn quite often but never when I'm prepared to take pictures. Trying to figure out the best angle to not have the wires or the background.

These are nice shots Banker. I really like the clarity and detail of the second shot. I do wish the entire insect was in frame though. The wings on these fellows are beautiful.
I wish they were too they are very detailed wings. I was lucky I got these before the wife "got rid of it". Thanks for the comments and looking

the first one I could hardly even see, put a dime next to him to show size, so small could barely focus. The other was in the sink

While not a technically perfect shot, I think it's darn cute.
