Found these while weeding garden, the spiders were late at night on soffit of garage so hard to get a good angle.

I hope that you returned the Monarch caterpillar to her milkweed plant, or placed her in a container with fresh milkweed leaves. She looks fifth instar, and about ready to pupate.
