Maybe I didn't spend enough time looking but I couldn't find the old versions of Adobe.
I already subscribe to cloud versions. However, I have a laptop that I could use the old versions on.

Any infrared remotes should just work equally fine in single shot, or in burst mode!!

That's what I thought now I own 3 remotes that don't do that. It's best to check first. Also on wireless there's a range difference. Somewhere somewhere around 50 feet and the more expensive ones go to 300 or more feet.

Make sure the remote will do burst mode. Many don't.

If It takes a picture then it is a camera. If people are only going to print 4 by 6 or so and/or look at their pictures on their computer or cell, cell phones are great.

Just got back from a trip. Didn't have to open my camera equipment. I have a TSA fast pass. However, in Phoenix the fast pass personnel leave at 8 in the evening. So then you go through a semi-regular check out. You have to open all your bags but on my outbound flight I can keep my belt and shoes on.

I know how to use Lightroom. It really is a catalog program. By the way I'm not a fan of the program. However, the catalogs are complicated and can be approached on different levels. If you put your photos into the catalog it is a lot faster to search than with Bridge. I'm a fan of bridge. I use it all the time. I'm going to experiment with some things with it. However, I do think that Lightroom has the capacity to search all your drives connected or not. Now to accessed the files unless it's a smart photo then you need to drive connected. But even with smart photos you still eventually have to connect it so it makes all the updates. I was just hoping there was a better way that didn't require adding everything into your catalog. Adobe should make that optional. What I was doing for a while was setting up a dummy catalog for one-time projects. Then deleting the files from the catalog so it be blank again. Remember those are not the original pictures. Lightroom does not load the actual file into its catalog just the data. However I found that method cumbersome. So I'm looking for something better. Like I said I'll play with Bridge a little more.

So what do you do when you got a large external drive attached and you select it. Then you want to find one picture that is somewhere in over a hundred different directories. Do you search it by the metadata tag that you attached to it. That's assuming you filled in the metadata with additional information.

Without the LR catalog how do you find pictures in different drives?

If you are going to delete the raw photo because you didn't like it and are never going to go back to it then delete the XMP that has the same file number. XMP are amazing small files. They don't take up any real space. But are useless once you delete the raw file.

The problem with these high-dollar Awards is that most of them were never paid out because the people don't have the money.

The manufacturers will tell you how much weight the tripod will carry. Make sure you check that. Also make sure when you put your camera on the tripod to balance the camera and lens's.

The 6500 has in camera stabilization. I own both the 6300 and the 6000. The only reason I got the 6300 was because of the silent shutter which helps me shoot inside places for a shutter sound would be distracting. Outside of that, the differences aren't that major. I go with the a6000 unless you specifically need the features in a 6300 and you think the cost is worth it.

Exposure compensation changes one of the settings in the exposure triangle. For example in aperture priority EC changes shutter speed. However, it shows up as a plus or minus ev number. In shutter and program priority the aperture setting is changed. I'm not sure which one changes in manual mode. In that mode just change one of the three settings for more control. Don't get me wrong, it is very useful but it's good to know what it is actually doing.
