Here's one for you. I bought a lot 42 years ago in an unincorporated area of a neighboring town. Two years later, it was annexed by another town. Then they changed my area code number, and then changed it again, and did it the 3rd time. I've also had 3 zip codes. All of this in the same house. I had to change my business cards each time. Finally, everything has been the same these last 20 years.
When it gets down to about 3/4ths I pick up another.
I never let a bottle of George Dickel get empty in my house, never !
I want to see those 'bright white' headlights outlawed ! Hate 'em. No need for lights that bright.

Well I can confirm that I am/was one ! I was born in the UP and lived there until I graduated high school. I still have family there. There is a special language spoken there, a lot like a Canadian accent but with local twang. The UP consists mostly of small towns. My home town had a population of about 1800 when I was born and today there are only 250 or so left. The year I graduated there were only 121 kids from kindergarten through 12th grade. My senior class had 10. There was a class that had only 3 seniors one year. The school has been torn down and several towns go to a central school now. It's a beautiful area in the Fall and Winter.
I've used the paid version of Malwarebytes for years, also Spybot, both good programs.

IF there were DST in Winter in the location in Michigan where I grew up one could see stars at 9:00 AM - sucks.
Standard time all year would be OK.
I grew up in the UP of Michigan and we went to school in the dark and came home in the dark.
Stay with Standard Time, just another thing that the damn government should keep their hands off of.
Many years ago when my wife had an appointment with her doctor when she was pregnant, I left work to take her there. We waited well over an hour . The next day I sent the doctor a bill for my wasted time. Next time , she got right in.
On making an appointment today. When I call my doctor's office in IL. the call is answered in the Philippines. There literally no way to actually call her office. She is part of a medical group and she hates it. I can make appointments online which is what I have to do.
I had a doctor's appointment scheduled for yesterday. I had filled out all the info online. Nurse called and said "doctor didn't make it in today, we'll have to reschedule you, how about next Monday ?" I said fine, in less that 1/2 and hour I get an email asking me to answer all the same questions online again.
Well, dropping the 'A' bomb was pretty effective !
When we were in Budapest several years ago I saw some men playing Backgammon on the sidewalk under a tree. I asked them if I could take a picture and one of them said "wait a minute" an some of the people that were watching them moved out of the shot and then he said 'OK'. I always ask in those situations.
I'm going through the same problem. Whitelisted UHH, nothing ! Checked for Ad blocker, nothing. So I just gave up !
