The Replacement Collar, made by Really Right Stuff, is compatible with the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200mm-500mm F/5.6 ED VR zoom lens. A well-known brand in the photography industry it is designed for easy attachment and removal of the lens to and from a tripod. This collar has never been used! This collar is, I've been told, much better than the one Nikon makes. Asking $68.00 free shipping conus

I do have 90% of our communications, but I am hoping that either he's away and hasn't seen my messages or sick and unable to respond. I hope I'm correct!

I agree with most of what you say, but over a period of 2 weeks and 5 private messages(asking nicely, stating the other buyer is patiently waiting, threatening to report him, threatening to not refund his money) I am quickly running out of patience.

I told him yesterday that I was still waiting for the foot and his reply was ok. I plan on giving it a few more days before telling him that, but thanks for the suggestion.

Tricky situation. Posting the buyer's name would warn others who are selling here. On the other hand, he could post negative things about you. Make sure you have all of the correspondence between the two of you.

How does the amount he paid compare with what you wanted for the foot? If he does not return the foot and get a refund, how will you wind up financially? If there isn't a big difference in the total amount you received, I would consider the situation settled. If he really wants a refund, he has to send the foot back to you. If you send him a refund before he returns the foot, I doubt you will ever receive the foot.

My biggest concern is that the buyer for the foot is waiting for it

I recently posted a couple of ads "Equipment for sale". This is something I have done for many years with little or no trouble. In this case however, problems have developed. Since it happened here, I thought I'd seek a solution by asking my fellow Hedgehogs.
I placed two ads, one for a replacement collar for a Nikon 200mm-500mm lens as well as one for a replacement foot for a Nikon 80mm-200mm or 500mm lens. Both items were sold rather quickly and in my haste to complete these sales, I mailed the items to the wrong buyers. The one who ordered the collar got the foot and the one who ordered the foot got the collar. When informed of this I offered to cover the costs to exchange them.
An additional problem suddenly arose. The buyer who ordered the foot claimed the item was not what he wanted or saw in the ad. while exchanging PMs with him, he stated the photos with the ad clearly showed both the collar and the foot. I checked my ads and I understood what he stated to be somewhat understandable. I included 5 photos for the foot, 4 that show only the foot and 1(for illustration purposes) that showed the foot attached to the lens with the collar. I thought it would be clear that the ad was only for the foot since the KIT for the same lens(collar and foot) sells for $295.00 and my collar was listed for $80.00.
Now, here is where we stand: The buyer who got the collar and wanted the foot agreed with my suggestion, returned the collar to me and asked that I forward the foot to him when I received it(thank g-d). However the buyer who got the foot and said he wanted the collar decided not to deal with me as he already went out and bought the item elsewhere. He only wanted a refund. I agreed and told him I'd refund his purchase when he returned the foot. It's been a couple of weeks now and I am in possession of the returned collar, but after repeated PMs the buyer who got the foot has not answered or returned the foot. I have sent 5 private messages to no avail or response. Looking for suggestions. Should I list his name???

Why not buy a flexible duct and run it from to dryer to the back of the washer where the exhaust hole is?

I've been a sports photographer primarily, for 40 years and I just wanted you to know that film, tri-x for one were often pushed so that instead of shooting at 400ASA it could be push processed to a variety of ASAs. I often used it at 800, 1600 and 3200. The higher it was pushed the larger the grain became, but it allowed you to get the photo. I also often pushed ektachrome as high as1200ASA. Once again the grain became more obvious and often there was a color shift, but again you could capture the action. These were the days when you had to follow moving objects (athletes) and focus! There was no auto focus.
