The card SD card speed is fast enough for more than just 3 or 4 images per second. It would seem your camera settings are the issue rather than the card. If you have an unedited JPEG, try attaching and storing so we can see the camera settings from the EXIF.

thanks for all the input. I use a extreme pro 32gb sd card now. I think it has 95mb,s I shoot kids baseball and trying to do some birds in flight. I here the shutter click 3 or 4 times but only get 2 images. I ordered a extreme pro 32gb cf card.

Hi, I have a canon 7d mark II. I'm still learning about it. when shooting sports I found that it was not recording 10 frames per second. someone told my my sd card was not fast enough. someone else said to use cf cards because they are faster. I order one to try. but I don't have a cf card reader to plug into a usb port to watch the photos. can anyone recommend a good reader. would be nice if it would read sd and cf cards.

Lens for vacation
a couple years ago I took a trip out west. I wanted to just take a body with one lens. I bought a sigma 18-300mm lens. it worked out well for me. I use it most the time now. I have a canon t5i.
