Another dry and bright morning here in Surrey. My DD and LM1 are popping in for brunch after they've been to the gym then I won't see them until next year. We'll be back just in time for DDs 50th birthday in January.

Lisa, thinking of you and sending lots of luv n hugs. Xx

I'm not quite sold yet, feel the same way about dishwashers. I would miss putting my hands in hot water each day, it feel sooooo good! xox

Don't have a dishwasher but I have a small airfryer and use it a lot, saves putting the main oven on and it's quicker. X

I finally tried something new, for me anyway. Rainbow Teddy has jointed limbs and head. It makes the head wobbly, but so much fun.

He's gorgeous,my craft group are knitting trauma teddies for the police and fire service. X

I am sorry that life is so boring for you!

Oh it is! Not! With my walking ability limited now it's just a matter of finding things that I can do to keep mobile. I am still doing a lot of crafts so I do get plenty of 'rest' time. Hope you and Alan are doing ok. Xxx

Do you ever get tired Josephine..! Your weather is beautiful for kayaking. Happy Birthday Mr. P! xoxo

Mr P says thank you for his birthday wishes. Yes I do get tired especially when my FM is fighting with the arthritis then I just give in and rest. But that's why I like to get going when I can. For me having a variety of different things to do is important.

Family lunch here for Mr P today. Luv and hugs everyone xxx

How many are ambidextrous? I discovered that I was when I was 19. I was writing some notes in a patients case notes, and another nurse commented that she thought I was right handed, and I answered that I was. She then asked me why I was using my left hand to write my notes, and I thought she was being crazy because as far as I was concerned, I was using my right hand; then she pointed out that I was actually writing with my left hand ..... as well as I wrote with my right hand! From that time, I began to use my hand more often, and that ability came in quite handy more often than I thought it would! xoxoxo

Following an arm injury when I was 4 I have used my left hand for most things. Now swap back and forth without even thinking about it. Xx

Oh, and also measuring cups. If you held the cup by the handle the measurements were on the opposite side of the cup. Now my cups have metric and cups measurements written on both the front and back of the cups.

And saucepans with a lip. I always have to pour from the otherside. X

Never heard of a left handed iron, what's the difference from a right handed one? xx

Years ago I had a left handed one, the flex came out at the left side of the iron. Nowadays most irons are universal with the flex coming out at the centre back.

Good morning and Happy December. I've not gone kayaking today as there has been a thick frost and my FM is p,aping up a bit. Which means I have more craft time.

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the run up to Christmas. It's lovely to see all the decorations going up.

Getting ready for a French Christmas, lots of family, food and drink. We get our French Christmas meal on Christmas Eve and then an English one on Christmas Day. Be!tter stop eating now and take clothes with elastic waistbands!

Take care, keep well and lots of love and hugs. Xxxx
