Great shots. Nope not something most get a chance to see.
My brother served 8 years in a Fast Attack Boat. All very hush hush
Yes they are hush-hush Bill....we always had one with our task force but never knew where it was although it did do some exercises with the ASW aircraft on board....either way we never saw it the entire cruise but it was there for protection.

In for some R&R, I guess. Thanks for sharing.
You're more than welcome and yes, I presume R&R and supplies....Ice Cream
Just a fun photo....Something you don't usually see everyday. Wife & I were departing Ft Lauderdale for a cruise a few years back and as we left the breakwater, I thought I saw what looked like a buoy off in the distance, then I saw it was moving. It was coming directly toward our ship, port side, at < 1/2 mile and then made its turn to port, toward Ft Lauderdale. In the first photo you can see the rudder shifted to port. I called to my wife to come see this and I told her to watch for the wake and bubbles of torpedoes since it was coming straight at us...
Couldn't stop laughing since she thought I was somewhat serious, the surprised look on her face...
Anyway I presumed it was an attack submarine making a well deserved port call in Ft Lauderdale. Just posting as its unusual and something that's not routinely seen, definitely not your everyday whales and porpoises....enjoy.

Have noticed some postings of images modified with Luminar. In checking with the Luminar homepage I'm not seeing a way to buy a single license for $35. Looks like to me there is also an annual fee in the mix. Are the exclusive tools included in the license or are those extras?
What do Photo Works users think about that program?
Both programs boast about their A-Intell capabilities.
I have Luminar 4 and have had all the previous versions...I really like it, does everything I need, no subscriptions, no annual fee, just for upgrades. Plugin's like Topaz Denoise and Topaz Sharpen work great. They have a free trial and if you don't like it, don't purchase it.
Thank you very much Mike most appreciated

Often, virtually no light pollution, and except for fire season and occasional dust, little of the other kinds.
One note QD, from the mountain the lights of El Paso (~200 mi) are visible to the west and the lights of the oil fields about ~80-100 miles north are also visible on clear evenings....Cheers
Thank you very much lxu532, most appreciated...
