This is a place in Fairbanks called Creamers Field. This is a place where thousands of birds come every year on their way to wherever they go. Geese,Cranes,Swans, all kinds of ducks and other kinds of birds. In the Spring these fields are full of hundreds of birds, they plow the snow and put feed out for them. The birds stop here and feed before moving on northward. Now the summer is over and things are winding down and only a few Geese are left fueling up for journey back south. I was hoping to get some shots of some Cranes but they have all left. If you ever come to Fairbanks Alaska this is a good place to go take pictures, there are trails you can hike that they have here. Hope you enjoy images.
Fairbanks is starting to look like this right now, leaves are about 10 to 20% turned allready depending on if you are in a valley or up on the mountain.

To my eyes it is out of focus, but a 100 yards is a long way. I've been thinking alot about purchasing that camera and not carrying so much gear, do you really like it alot? Anything bad about it , like battery power or other things you've noticed about it.
