This is a place in Fairbanks called Creamers Field. This is a place where thousands of birds come every year on their way to wherever they go. Geese,Cranes,Swans, all kinds of ducks and other kinds of birds. In the Spring these fields are full of hundreds of birds, they plow the snow and put feed out for them. The birds stop here and feed before moving on northward. Now the summer is over and things are winding down and only a few Geese are left fueling up for journey back south. I was hoping to get some shots of some Cranes but they have all left. If you ever come to Fairbanks Alaska this is a good place to go take pictures, there are trails you can hike that they have here. Hope you enjoy images.

What a beautiful setting...i love the set.

Beautiful series, I see it is getting fall up your way. Glad you showed a farm, very few folks know there are farms in Alaska. Thank you for posting.
We haven't been to Faribanks in several years, and Creamer's Field is a go to place for us. Thanks for sharing those with us. Now gear up for some cold weather ahead.
I agree. Creamers Field is a terrific place for hiking as well as bird photography. The trails are easy, and you may see birds in nesting boxes scattered throughout them. It adjoins the park by the Antique Car Museum where there is a very scenic lake. If you have not been there, it is worth going to. It is also a great spot for Aurora shots. Your photos are awesome!
