Heating pads sold in the US are 120 Volt. If you are traveling to a country with 220V power, you will need a voltage converter. Walmart is selling one for about $9.00. "Foreign Travel Converter 1600 W Watt AV Voltage Step Down Power Adapater 220-110V " My Canon EF 70-200 is now 9 years old. No problem with mildew or dust inside the lens. Hopefully your lens will be OK.

I have a 12"x12" 50 Watt Heating Pad. I leave my backpack with camera and lenses sitting on it overnight, and in the morning it will be warmed up to about
80ºF. So far it travelled with me 3x to Miami, 2x to Aruba, 1x to Singapore. In November I will take it with me to Rio. Never had a problem again with condensation. If you have condensation inside the lens, the next thing will be mildew.

Go to page 159 in your manual "The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100's Multiple Exposure mode combines two or three different pictures to create one composite image." See if you have "Multi exp" in the menu activated.

Yes, movement during exposure of several images caused the double image. Your camera has an in camera HDR processing, it will combine 2 or more images into one HDR image. It works great if you hold the camera very steady or use a tripod. Check your manual on page 79 for more info. Auto HDR works only in iA mode.

I'll check the HDR setting, I normally don't use that. How could that cause the double image? Movement during the extra exposures? Thanks.

I saw your first post and you were correct. I bought the LX100 for my daughter, and had some time to check it out.
I used the in camera HDR function, camera mounted a tripod, and it works great.

The Exif data did suggest that, see my post above.

After looking at your photo with the sea grapes, I noticed that your double image has different exposures.
Also your photo with control tower has double image of 1st and 2nd floor windows, but only single image of the 3rd floor window. I'm sure you have your camera set to in camera HDR processing.

Lumix LX100 is a mirrorless camera.

I am an old timer with some vague memories of using the Focal Plane shutter in my old Speed Graphic to capture high speed movement. I also remember a problem with shutter bounce in which part of the image had double images. Turned out to be the problem with the Focal Plane shutter bounce. I am not sure which Camera you are using, but most digital cameras today use something similar to a Focal leaf shutter. Remember, the mirror has to get out of the way before the shutter can activate. Try locking your Mirror up (check your instruction book). This may help.
Good Luck. Don

You probably have the camera in HDR mode. Also check your Panorama mode.

I did go to the Horse Shoe Bend for the sunset, but after getting close to the top I realized there is no way I would find a spot with my tripod among 200-300 photographers, so I decided to come back next day for the sunrise. At 5:30AM I was the first person on the rim. You will need a 14 to 17mm wide angle on a FF camera. Attached is a photo at 6 AM.

I went there two years ago for 2 days on the Photographer tour. 1st day I used my 24-70 F2.8 on a FF camera, second day I used a 14mm Rokinon F2.8. Since I used a tripod, I also was shooting 3 exposure HDR's. I like the photos shot with the 14mm lens the best. Try to include the floor of the canyon. Don't change lenses in the canyon. I also added a photo of the non Photographer tour. If you decide to save some money, this is what you will get.

EOS 80D has an APS-C sensor. His EF-S lens will work.

80D is excellent. New FF with kit lens (your EF-S lens wont work) is a real kick in the pocket book. 6Dmkii appears to be not much better than the 80D in the Dynmaic range area according to DPReview. A jump to FF is expensive and if cost is the main concern...dont do it. Lens prices can be 2x what an equivalent EF-S lens would cost also (nifty fifty notwithstanding.)

Divorces are really expensive also....guessing that you would get the FF camera in the settlement so you have that going for you....

Look at your exif data. Top photo 1/6th sec, bottom photo 1/13th sec. Shoot manual at 1/100th sec and you should be OK.

When I was 17 my mother gave me a Agfa Isolette. When I was 23 I bought a used Leica IIIF with 3 lenses for $125. Few years later I bought another Leica IIIG.
All my children photos were taken with the Leica until 1980 when I bought a Canon A1. I still own the Leica's in working condition. They are sitting in a display cabinet in my living room.

Canon 5D Mark IV has built in GPS. After importing in to Apple Photos, it will show the GPS coordinates and name of landmarks nearby. No attachments or other apps needed. In the menu you can turn the GPS function off to save battery power.
