My father was a fanatical golfer. I was once playing with him and two of his buddies when a lightning storm began moving close. Is two Pals started hurrying to the clubhouse. He was lining up a 3-wood shot on The Fairway and ask them where they were going. The lightning was ferocious. They said they were heading for safety. Dad replied, if the big man wants you, he can find you inside that Clubhouse. Then he made his Drive. Fortunately the storm skirted away.
I sincerely meant you no disparagement, Mike. I am a graduate of the U of Utah, and my real home is just outside Big Bend Nat. Park. I am only on Hilton Head for a job and cannot wait to go home. This is a wonderful place if you like tourist traps, haze, heat and humidity. Not to mention mosquitoes, ticks, gnats and such an abundance of vegetation and trees that one cannot see very much (except at the beach which is a human ant hill). Enjoy your stay. Be sure, if you like birds, to visit Pinckney Island which is just across the main bridge on your right side.
I live on Hilton Head. I just returned from a three week trip in the American southwest. That is my original home. While I am not in any way being critical of these to Sunrise Photos, I will tell you that both sun rises and sets in the eastern United States are inferior to what one witnesses in the Southwest. The cooler and drier air coupled with the higher elevation in that area produces the most spectacular sunsets and rises that I have ever seen. Although I awaken every day before sunrise, I will not even bother to go observe the local phenomena.
Lighten up, kd. I too am a physician and I know sarcasm when I see it. I would not be so blunt as he, but as one who has treated trauma for 35 years, I have often thought worse things about man's extraordinary stupidity.

I jave used ACDsee as my primary pp program for 12 years.Have been through several upgraded editions. I tried LR for several years and discarded it because I disliked it's numerous symbols and icons. Acdsee primarily uses language to identify it's various features.
My only advice is to find a program which you like and stick to it. A program that allows you to utilize its features that you need. When I purchased the latest edition of my preferred program, I downloaded the user manual. It is 300 pages long!
