My dr. told me to diet. He said to try and put color in you meals, like green, yellow, orange. So I went home and followed his advice.
I think it's funny that you develope an interest in photography when you become a grandparent. I too have 5 grandchildren and it has tweaked my interest too.
Hope you don't mind that I leveled the buiding and got rid of the green light in the trees.
Welcome, one thing this forum is never short on is opinions.
Don't be afraid of the camera, you can't hurt it. Just snap and have fun. You'll catch on as you go along.
Thanks, the bees were thick that day. I thought I was going to get stung !!
I took this at UK Arboretum Lexington,KY
red hair, green eyes and freckles......wow, she's a very pretty young lady.
I like going through the UK arboretum here in Lex. KY and taking macros myself. I too like the way you framed it. very good shot.
thank you of course we think so. don't those eyes just reach out and grab you?
how close were you to the frog? or did you use a long lens? The focus is fantastic!!
My name is edwinj and I joined this site yesterday. I have been photographing for about 10 years now. I like landscapes and portraits mostly. Since retiring 2 years ago I've really turned on! Most of what I do is portraits of my 5 grandchildren. I use a Canon T1i and edit with paintshop pro 13 and portrait professional 10. I am looking forward to chatting with you all and hopefully passing on some good advice. I'm self taught but I do read alot and experiment so I feel as though I've learned some things.
This is my youngest grand-daughter
