I think you will be disappointed with 1920 x 1080 on a screen that big. I would recommend 2560 x 1440 as the minimum res or go to 4k. If you get 4K then Windows will recommend scaling text to 150% so it is not too small. That gives an effective res of 2560 x 1440.
Agreed with the minimum res suggestion. After much research into what was available at the approx. $200 price point, I went with the Dell S2721DS. Very pleased with it.

If I die I don't want my wife's friend donates my camera collection to the college. The college kids don't appreciate them any way. They think you give them junk.
I think the dead man would thank you in his grave if you get the most money out of his collection for his wife.
And a smart man will liquidate his collection BEFORE he passes. That's exactly what I'm doing with my Lionel train collection right now. And the side benefit is that I can fund my GAS!

I use the Nikon software though. But for zero buck whatever bang you get should be best.
Can't beat dividing by zero!

I need a new battery for my D5500. B&H offers a Nikon battery (1800 mAh/13.3 Wh) for $40 and a Watson battery (1150 mAh/8.28 Wh) for half that price. I've never had a problem with B&H products so I'm wondering if there's any reason not to go with the cheaper battery since the amps and watt hours are roughly the same? I'm assuming the Watson will work with my Nikon charger since the dimensions and contacts have to be the same.
If price is no object, is there a superior product I should use in my camera?

I have the same camera, purchased used about 13 months ago. It came with a Nikon EN-EL14a (1230 mAh). This was a capacity improvement over the EN-EL14 and I'm not aware of further improvements, certainly not 1800 mAh.
I suspect my battery is several years old (the 14a's first were available in 2/2014).
I have also used an Ultimaxx branded replacement, which is labeled as 1700 mAh.
After one year the Ultimaxx has held up fine and gives me about the same performance as the Nikon branded battery. They can be found for $12 or so.
IMHO, if price is no object, use the Nikon branded product. BTW, it is assembled in Indonesia from cells made in China.

I’ll be making a trip from Florida to New England in about 5 days. I have a mini van with compartments under the floorboards. I’m considering packing my Canon 70D and Fuji XT 1 with lenses today or tomorrow in those compartments so that it’s less packing I need to do next week. My van in garaged day and night. Central Florida temps are now averaging 90 degrees. My question should I wait to load the cameras or can they stand the high temps?
I was on a Zoom seminar last evening where this very question was raised. At least one attendee was chastised for leaving his camera in his car all the time. So much for being prepared for those random photo ops. So I checked around to find what Nikon recommends. Operating range 0-40 deg-C; Storage range -10 to 50 deg-C. 50C (being 122F) can easily be exceeded this time of the year, particularly in direct sun and/or in a closed vehicle. Perhaps the use of a soft cooler might help for brief periods. I'm rethinking my habit of carrying my gear unprotected in the trunk.

I’m going to be the odd man with this answer. For quick turn around time I use Walgreens. They use a DNP dye sub printer for smaller prints and have a big Epson for the larger stuff. I don’t print much but have also been using Meridian or the Darkroom for my more professional work. I haven’t tried to compare prices but I like the results.
I'm with you. I sat in on a Roberts' Zoom call last evening where Canon reps were discussing their current printer line-up. Beautiful results but between printer cost, ink/pigment, and paper, I could not justify. The occasional, third party, dye sub looks like it will work for me. But then maybe I just don't have GAS.
I have an extra Andoer AD560IV, GN50 that I am not using. Used it just once for some product photography before deciding to use continuous LED lights instead. All original packaging and includes Speedlite, Trigger, Protecting bag, Mini stand, Diffuser, Pack of Color Gels (20pcs), User manual.
You can see it here... https://www.ebay.com/itm/114577043035
$55 including shipping for Hoggers.
It is a classic. It is funny. It is also copyrighted, even though you trimmed off most of the notice.
Should it really be posted here?
Just asking.

Used Photo Pro (Roberts) has a ton (actually 21) to chose from. $ 861 to $ 1089. 2.5% rebate via Rakuten as well.
Merry Christmas to you!!
I see that when Roberts sells used Nikon cameras and the OEM charger is not available, they substitute a [pro]master Traveler+. Sent one when I bought my D5500 from them. Seems to work fine on the original Nikon-branded battery, charging in the expected time interval.

I second that suggestion. They are good and back what they sell.
Another thumbs up for Roberts.
