the fz200 from panasonic is a beauty it has a nice veiw finder and constant f2.8 thru out the zoom u can dop from 12 to 8 pixels and get 28times zomm i find that plenty for most shots
Next to your view finder is a small wheel for a clear focus it makes a huge difference
I have three panasonics and have been shooting em for 6 yrs no break downs. According to consumer report they have a very good track record
Try the fz200 by panasonic it has a nice view finder and don't forget that f2.8 they out the zoom
am 63 got hooked on photography 3yrs ago with a point and shoot.Fell big time. love to shoot birds incects just about anything outdoors flowers. bought fz200 its nice but looking to improve image quality purchased a g6 lumix micro 4/3got a book on exposure and am trying to learn.the lenses I have are a 14-42 and45-150 I have seen such incredible pics. on this site iam not quite that fussy yet but Im heart broken . Today I had a female cardinal fly into my feeder,just plopped down and commenced spittin seeds for 4min.camera mounted on tripod 70ft away icould not get camera to focus havin trouble with the fz200 also. im thinkin of jumpin off my bed but the 2ft hight makes me dizzy. any help for an old coot??
