How true. It's a good way to start the day
Thanks Karin. I found it to be quite profound. There is a province in which the photograph tells us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, but there is another in which it proves how little our eyes permit us to see. Dorothea Lange
I would like to sincerly express my gratitude to everyone for the kind words concerning my Milky.Way photo as I am quite humbled. When words become unclear I shall focus with photography. When images become inadequate I shall become content with silence. Ansel Adams
That shot was down a gravel Rd.about 20mi from Victoria, Tx. Standing under the Milky Way is like being under something alive. I could feel it's pulse. It is truly alive with extreme energy. It makes a person feel very small. People should experience these things in life and besides a bit of time and gasoline. It is truly the best free show around around
I was more than happy. Beside myself was more like it
Thank achesley. It had been many years for me also and I was quite blown away. Then I was rewarded with a photo on top of it.
Taken in May of 2017 Canon t5i 20sec, f2.5, ISO 3200. My first ever Milky Way Photo.
Thanks I'll look into that Don
Thanks to you all and I'm looking forward to learning more.
I've been hanging around this forum for a while just reading and learning more about photography. I started back in the early 70's with a Visitor 35mm sorry and then got a Canon AE1 a few years later. I'm starting out in the digital world with a Canon T5i. I want to learn more about post processing and then see where all of this goes from here.
Thanks to all of you. That should have been 1year not 4
