Thanks, Jules. Some bumps in the road, but we're doing well. Hope all is well on your end, also.

Cany, you have a pretty nice place there. I don't mind the BYOB, but you neglected to let us know the address.

By "attribution of being collodion-like" I was merely referring to the title of the thread which is Collodion Prints. So while I commented favorably enough on the images, I felt that the connection to the collodion process was not valid.

Thanks, Don. She was chatting with another very attractive lady. However, the patio area was crowded and little room for me to move around relatively unnoticed. She was the more attractive, but that takes into account her demeanor and personality, not just her appearance.

Hi, SoHillGuy. Thanks for stopping and viewing. Yes, that is quite a tourist attraction. It looks very much like a chapel inside. However, the altar area has a life-size Elvis posed as if he were singing.

The street scene has not only a Wells Fargo but several other shops and a jail, as well.

I enjoyed the subject content and I have two questions. Is the Open sign to let tourist know they can come in; and is that a barber pole on the Wells Fargo building?

My new lens arrived and I made a short trip (12 miles) to the elephant seal rookery at Piedras Blancas to see how it compared to my old Sigma 150-500mm lens. Comparing the Nikon to the Sigma I am quite pleased. I bought a refurbished lens from Nikon on their sale last week and got good value. The Lens and my D800e body and Nikon strap weigh 7.7 pounds though. I can still manage that for a another few years, I hope!

I guess I'm just not sure of an issue with the "attribution of being collodion-like". That particular statement just doesn't make sense to me at the moment.

No argument about appeal, here. Just the attribution to being collodion-like. If the museum wants them, ok then . . .
