Greetings! I have 18-55 and 55-300 Nikon lenses I use with my D7200. I'm thinking of going to an 18-300 and wonder about the two Nikons and the Sigma in that range. Any advice/experiences will be welcome! FYI, I do a lot of landscape and wildlife work and have some other lenses, too. I'm looking to reduce my load for travel by going to one zoom. Thanks!
I just bought one for a trip to China for the same reason. Seems to work well, although the instructions are a bit vague. But, once you set it up and play with it some, it becomes clear. I will use it with two external hard drives but it works easily with thumb drives, too.
I agree with ejones0310: the real story might be the reactions/expressions of people and animals experiencing the eclipse.
My Case Logic camera/laptop backpack holds all I need and goes under seats and into bins. So far it's been in 12 countries plus Antarctica with no problem at all.
I've heard that "TSA-Pre" participants don't have to unload everything.
I just bought a RAVPower Filehub 5-in-1 for backup on trips. It has no internal storage itself but enables you to connect to USB flash drives and external hard drives. Your smartphone connects to the Filehub's wifi and an app lets you transfer files from the unit's SD card reader. Seems to work well enough but not as flexible as a laptop is.
