It doesn't seem to me that there are many or any recent submissions here. But I have one. This is a studio shot of my Leica IIIc with 50mm Sumicron.
Hey all, some good studio and product photography tutorials can be found here:

Yeah I haven't turned back either.
I had a similar experience in the graphic design business. I saw the light very early and learned the Mac and publishing software like Quark and Illustrator. I remember sitting in class and saw a poster for Photoshop 1.0. I had never seen that before but intuitively knew that was for me. I tried to convince my coworkers to get on board, as that's where we're going. Many went but some stayed behind. I miss the skill involved with doing paste up mechanicals and such, just as I miss seeing the image appear in the developing tray.
Very delicate and sweet. I too am very impressed that you can do hand held focus stacking.
Thank you for the ideas. This is why I joined forum.

A warm welcome to you, Wolf Mark. You will know this a great site. Also, if you are local to Grants Pass you may find the Caveman Camera Club (CCC) of value. I became a Nikon user a couple of years ago and quite recently set out to really understand the camera and the CCC have been a great resource; still are! Starting to suffer from old man’s memory but then again I was born in London towards the end of the Second World War. Please share your photographs!
Thanks PaulBrit. I live in Ashland. We're almost neighbors!
Hi all, I'm new here and this is my first submission to this section. I saw this guy the other day in my local park.
Hi all. This is my first post here as I just recently joined. I do a lot of shooting and one of my areas of interest is studio lighting for small objects. I do it solely for myself as I'm retired and this is part of my hobby. I have a simple small studio, shooting with speedlights and diffusers and most of the necessary gear. I'm self taught and love to play with light. This is one of my earlier experiments.
I've been an active photographer since high school. Not to date myself, but that would be about 50 years ago. I started out with a Yashica Mat, learned developing and printing, and soon switched to 35mm. I got my first Nikon F in college. Soon I scored an old Leica M3 and and even older IIIc. I stuck with photography over the years and switched to digital about ten years ago. Still shooting with Nikon. I still have my Leicas in case I want to dabble in film again. I shoot a variety of different types of photos. As I live in a mostly rural area much of my work these days is nature, landscape, and wildlife, though i dabble in the studio too. I've been lurking around here for some time and just joined the other day, hoping to share and grow.
Very cool and creative. I love the trombone.
