Make this slide, negative copier yourself. The sensor in your camera will blow any scanners away, and it is pretty fast.
Sunset on the Upper Niagara River.
Whitewolf,
I like what you did in Lightroom, but you lost the sharpness of the image. Zoom in on the yellow "You're Moving". You can barely read it in your edit.

Very nice. Wish they would show up here. We have two feeders and only Baltimore Orioles go to them.
I like it. I have a D7100 and don't pay much attention to picture control as I shoot raw. When editing raw in view or capture you can choose different picture control settings and compare. Give it a try.
City of Buffalo viewed from the Outer Harbor.
Converted to BW with PSP X8 and added Selective Color.

CO,
This image was done in Photomatix Pro.
This HDR photo was created from a single exposure RAW file.
If your lenses are DX you should look for a film camera including a 50mm 1.8 AF D lens on Ebay. You will be able to do your BW project and end up with a great lens that will work on your DX cameras. It will be 75mm equivalent on the DX cameras. Great for portraits or street photos.
Great shot, but it looks like the camera may have focused on the tree.
Jon,
I use digicamcontrol with my D7100 and it works great. It can be downloaded free.
