Friday afternoon I fought the crowds and went out and took a few shoots of the space shuttle..Wow it was exciting, to say the least... the sun was right overhead.. did a few touch-ups in LR4.
this white BMW was coming down the pier in Santa Barbara, with this Poddle behind the wheel, actually driving..when the car passed me I could see the lady with the poodle in her lap... she was holding his rear legs and the poodle had both feet on the steering wheel.. she was really laughing hard...LOL so was I....

I have one that I bought for my wife... LOL ..thats the reason I gave... I just really wanted a superzoom... for my camera bag.. at this moment she has it with her in Palm Springs... so I am missing the shots of the Blue Moon.. I took a few a few days ago and they were great, incuding a couple of shots at 1000 and 2000mm.
Hey..other then being super hot, this time of the year.. Plus it being a holiday weekend.. It may be pretty crowded. So the security may be more tightened.. I was there in June this year and it wasnt so bad.. The walk up the skywalk or skybridge , whatever you wanna call it wasnt really bad... I am including a few shots that I took.. During your trip the Hoover Dam is about 30 miles outside of Vegas, it has a new bridge that you can walk over and take great shots of the Dam..I am not sure of the name, but I call it the Skywalk....This is one of my pictures taken with a 16-85 nikkor.. using the 16mm...on my D300
