New to photography, this is my first post. I have a few decent lenses. This picture is actually two images. The landscape was taken with a 200mm lens and the moon was taken with a 600mm lens and then reduced in size in post editing. With some help, the images were then merged in Photoshop. The location is a 3,000 acre ranch of pristine desert where many 1950/1960’s western movies were filmed on the outskirts of Tucson, AZ. For those a little older, remember the TV series 'High Chaparral'?
I am looking forward to moving up the photography learning curve (it’s a steep climb). Please feel free to critique my images.
Wow! Your image takes my breath away. I am a year into DSLR photography. Joining this forum has been educational and inspiring, but it's over my head with the exceptional images submitted. I will continue to ooh and aah.
I am new to photography and to forums. Following your images -- you are quite the story-teller. Love your photographic creativity. Yeah, I am a cowgirl from the southwest.
